The San Diego train station is in the middle of downtown, next to the Gaslight District. This is the final stop for the Pacific Surfliner, which runs from San Luis Obispo through Santa Barbara and Los Angeles. But the San Diego train station is also situated close to the Brodway pier, where the cruise ships dock. There are a number of hotels near the station.
