Louisiana Indian Casinos

Louisiana, known for its music, food, wildlife and culture, is also becoming known as a place to gamble. The state is home to 15 casinos as of March 2010. Three of them are owned and operated by federally recognized Indian tribes: the Cushatta, Chitimacha and Tunica-Biloxi. Like other gaming establishments in the state, Indian casinos offer a variety of games of chance. They also provide other services, such as hotels and entertainment, to make sure gamblers stay in their facilities.
