Les Gobelins is a peaceful area in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, south of the Seine River. Traveling from this neighborhood to Charles de Gaulle airport does require several legs, as there is no direct route, but it can easily be done on public transportation.
Enter the Paris Metro system at Les Gobelins. Take the number 7 Line north towards La Courneuve 8 Mai 1945. Travel 15 stops
Transfer at Gare de l'Est to either the number 4 Line towards Porte de Clignancourt or the number 5 Line towards Bobigny Pablo Picasso. Go to the next stop.
Get off the Metro at Gare du Nord. Switch to the RER--"Réseau Express Régional" or "Regional Express Network"--Paris' suburban rail system. Take Line B of the RER north towards Charles de Gaulle airport.
Travel through the northern suburbs of Paris. Arrive at Charles de Gaulle airport after approximately one hour.
Spend less time on the Metro with this alternate route. From Les Gobelins, take the number 7 Line south towards Villejeuf-Louis Aragon. Go one stop to Place d'Italie. Transfer to the number 6 Line west towards Charles de Gaulle-Etoile (not to be confused with Charles de Gaulle airport). Travel four stops to Denfert Rochereau, and transfer to the RER Line B North to Charles de Gaulle airport.
Wait outside the address 81 Boulevard Saint-Marcel.
Board bus number 91 in the direction of the Bastille. Ride approximately 4 minutes until Oberservatoire-Port Royal. Get off the bus, and walk into the Port Royal RER station.
Embark on the RER line B north towards Charles de Gaulle airport.
