Gettysburg Battlefield Bus Tours offers two battlefield tour options. Patrons of the dramatized audio tour will enjoy a professional audio dramatization of the Battle of Gettysburg while exploring battlefield sites. The audio tour is conducted on an open-air double-decker bus during warmer months and on a climate-controlled coach in the winter. During the licensed guide bus tour, a National Park Service licensed guide accompanies the tour group on a climate-controlled coach and personally shares historical background and stories of the famous battle. Both tours are approximately two hours long. Tickets can be purchased online, by phone, at the Main Gettysburg Tour Center or at most Gettysburg lodging.

The Gettysburg Foundation, a private, non-profit educational organization that operates the Museum and Visitor Center at Gettysburg National Military Park, offers several battlefield tour options. Bus tours with licensed battlefield guides depart daily from the Visitor Center and last two and half hours. You can also reserve a licensed battlefield guide to join you in your own car or bus for a private, personal two-hour battlefield tour. Personal tour guides should be reserved at least three days in advance and are non-refundable. CD audio tours are also available for purchase at the museum bookstore. The Gettysburg Foundation offers value packages that include a bus tour ticket as well as admission to the museum, the Battle of Gettysburg Cyclorama and the film "A New Birth of Freedom."

The Historic Tour Company offers its Premier Gettysburg Tour, a bus tour through many famous Gettysburg Battlefield locations, including stops at Little Round Top and the site where Lincoln delivered the Gettysburg Address. The Premier Gettysburg Tour lasts for two and half hours and departs daily at 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. The company also offers a one-hour tour of the city of Gettysburg. Tours are primarily conducted on classic 17-passenger buses, allowing for small, personalized groups. Customized bus tours and larger buses are also available.
