What Cruise Lines Depart From Galveston, Texas?

Two cruise lines use Galveston, Texas, as a home port: Royal Caribbean, which docks one ship there, and Carnival, which docks two ships in Galveston. The ships leave Galveston for cruises throughout the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean.

    • Royal Caribbean's Voyager of the Seas cruise ship features an ice rink, rock climbing wall, a spa and a casino, among many other amenities. Departing from Pier 27 in Galveston, the ship takes seven-day cruises through the Western Caribbean, with stops in Grand Cayman, Jamaica, Belize, Mexico and Honduras.

    Carnival Cruises' Conquest

    • Carnival's Conquest cruise ship features Broadway-style stage shows, a three-deck-high water slide, a teen club, a casino and an outdoor theater, among other attractions. Departing from Cruise Ship Terminal 1 or 2 in Galveston, the ship travels to the Cayman Islands, Mexico, Jamaica, the Bahamas and Florida.

    Carnival Cruises' Ecstasy

    • The Carnival Ecstasy cruise ship features a water park, a video game arcade, a casino, an adults-only retreat area and a full spa. Departing from Cruise Ship Terminals 1 or 2 in Galveston, the Ecstasy departs for five-day cruises to Mexico and back.
