  Visit the RENFE Web site (see Resources below) to book your train travel from Madrid to La Coruna via the TALGO line. Another train, the TRENHOTEL, also travels directly from Madrid to La Coruna. Estimated travel times are 11 to 14 hours and 9 to 10 hours, respectively.

  Create an account with TIKNET to purchase your train tickets.

  Print the customer confirmation page and bring it with you on your trip.

  Take a number. If this is your first time purchasing advance tickets through the TIKNET system, you'll be required to pick up your tickets at a RENFE station. Get a numbered ticket at the station ticket booth. When your number is called, you'll get your ticket. You won't have to stand in line.
