Can dogs walking across bridges make them collapse?

The weight of individual dogs crossing bridges is trivial compared to the bridges' design loads, so no dog has ever caused a bridge to collapse by merely crossing it. Bridges that have collapsed under foot traffic did not collapse because of the weight of the people crossing them, the forces the people exerted on the bridge, and/or a resonance in the bridge caused by the people's footsteps.
