Three Bears at the Fountain offers six rooms and suites between their Main House and connected Carriage House, and it's located just a mile away from Stowe's downtown area. There are four distinct bedrooms and a queen suite in the main house, one named the Goldilocks Room and one named The Three Bears room in deference to the B&B's name. All rooms come with a bed, cable TV, iPod docks, and a private bathroom. The Carriage House has a large master suite that includes a small Jacuzzi tub, refrigerator and a hot tub on the back deck. For romance, the Three Bears offers special turn-down services and chocolate strawberries; they also offer massage therapy. A homemade breakfast is included, which features local fresh fruits and hot entrees such as pancakes and eggs Benedict.

The Hob Knob Inn is particularly historic for Stowe, as it was the town's first ski lodge, built in 1937. Today, the Hob Knob prides itself on being a "green," or environmentally friendly inn. Located in a farmhouse that is over 145 years old, the unusually named Inky Dinky Oinkink Bed and Breakfast is just five minutes from Stowe's downtown area. This whimsically decorated B&B is the creation of the innkeeper who is an artist. This tiny B&B, decorated with the innkeepers' artwork and quirky antiques, has two guest rooms with private baths.
