Situated within the city limits of Hendricks is the Midwest Center for Wind Energy. The MCWE provides a model for clean renewable energy through the use of wind turbines. On the property are eight guestrooms overlooking the scenic Buffalo Ridge. Amenities include free continental breakfast. Rooms are non-smoking and no pets are allowed. Situated on a remodeled farm, the Triple L Bed and Breakfast offers guests the opportunity to lodge in a turn-of-the-century farmhouse. Guests have three options to choose from when lodging at the Triple L: The Sunset Bunkhouse, The Sunrise Bunkhouse and The Farmhouse. Guest amenities include daily meals, DVD players and an outdoor fire pit. Guests can stay with dogs in the Bunkhouses only. Guests who stay in the Bunkhouses are situated on the outskirts of the property and have access to public hunting land in Minnesota and South Dakota. During the summer months, guests can visit the organic farmers markets or the Hendricks golf club.
