Alexandria, Louisiana, is a small city that was traded between the Spain and France and then sold to the US during the Louisiana Purchase. Today, it has a population of more than 46,000 and is home to a handful of major corporations, including Procter and Gamble, International Paper and Cleco. This hotel is about 10 minutes from downtown and next to the Oak Wing Golf Course. The Parc England’s Bistro on the Bayou restaurant features fresh seafood and pasta.
