    • Located oceanfront at the southern end of Long Beach, the Discovery Inn offers studio style rooms in the main guest house and two separate suites in the beach house. The studio rooms in the main building are all ocean view with private balcony and gas fireplaces. Breakfast is delivered to your room including yogurt, baked goods, fresh fruit and juice.     Cedars Ocean View Inn

    • Cedars Ocean View Inn is next to the Long Beach arch. Walk out the lobby doors, under the arch and follow the pathway to the beach. The powder blue clapboard hotel offers 42 rooms on three floors. Rooms offer clean-lined contemporary furnishing and many have ocean views. A few units offer kitchenettes and three are equipped for the physically challenged. Breakfast is included in the room rate and offers both hot and cold items. Dogs, small to medium size, are welcome with advanced reservations and payment of a nightly fee. Up to two pets are allowed per room. Nearby restaurants include the Café Akari, one block away, and Mexigo and Rocket Dine.

    Discovery Coast Cottage Inn

    • Nautically themed and offering such niceties as an espresso bar, fresh popped popcorn and shaved ice in an alcove off the lobby, the Discovery Coast Inn is a hit with both adults and children. The Atlantis Suite may be rented as a one or two-bedroom unit. The suite offers its own private porch with hot tub, full kitchen, wireless Internet and a little red Radio Flyer wagon to take with you to the beach. The Forecastle offers the same amenities, less the hot tub and can sleep up to eight people. Studio units, including the Crow's Nest, Captain's, First Mate and Crew's Quarters offer kitchenettes and sleep up to four.

    Chautauqua Lodge

    • The Chautauqua Lodge is the largest property in Long Beach and is located near the beach on the northern end of town. This family friendly hotel offers a heated indoor pool, an adult hot tub and dry sauna, a smaller children's therapy tub, a sand volleyball court and a basketball hoop. On-site picnic tables, barbecue grills and a small video game room are also available. Accommodations include hotel rooms, some with in-room jetted tubs, and lodge suites that offer full kitchens, separate living room areas and an ocean facing balcony or patio. Some suites sleep up to eight people.
