Flagstaff, Arizona Hotels With Indoor Pools

Flagstaff is a beautiful mountain community that has much to offer. Whether it's heading to cooler temperatures above the valley floor in the summer, skiing in the winter or just passing through on your way to the Grand Canyon, there are many reasons to stay in Flagstaff. Flagstaff boasts many attractions, but after a long day on the slopes you may just want to take a swim, so finding a hotel with an indoor pool is a must. Several area hotels offer indoor pools as well as spas and other special features.

  1. Choices of Pools

    • A kid's pool is great for families.

When planning a trip, we often have an idea about the amenities we want in lodging but don't always stop to consider the varieties available. Pools come in many shapes and sizes, and while some hotels offer pools large enough to swim laps in, others are just big enough for a quick dip. Families with small children might also prefer a hotel that offers a children's pool or one with shallower depths. Some hotels include spas and workout areas within the pool areas as well, so there is much to consider when choosing the right hotel for you.

    Budget Hotels with Pools

    • Small indoor pools are often the norm at budget hotels.

While many budget hotels do not offer indoor pools, some do without costing an arm and a leg. One such hotel is The Holiday Inn Express, which features a covered pool that flows both indoors and outdoors. Closer to Flagstaff's Pulliam airport is the Econo Lodge Lucky Lane, which offers a small indoor pool and spa. The Flagstaff Travelodge also has a small indoor pool and spa, while the Best Western Pony Soldier Inn offers a long, fully glass-enclosed indoor pool and spa perfect for doing laps while also enjoying the outdoor views.

    More Budget Hotels

    • If you're a devoted lap swimmer, look for a larger pool.

The Super 8 Conference Center NAU has a large heated indoor pool, but you will have to walk outside to get to the building -- something to consider during the winter. The Courtyard by Marriott offers a pool that's 3 feet deep, which may be more appropriate for younger children. The Sleep Inn provides a mid-sized indoor pool, but if you're looking for water ranging from shallow up to 6 feet, look no further than the Days Inn and Suites.

    Upper Scale Hotels with Pools

    • Find a pool that best suits your needs.

If you want an indoor pool and can afford to spend a bit more, there are even more hotels to choose from. Check out The Hampton Inn, which offers a mid-sized indoor pool, or The Hampton Inn & Suites Flagstaff that boasts a long pool especially well suited to lap swimming. The Hilton Garden Inn's large pool is open 24-hours a day for anytime swims, and the Drury Inns and Suites offers a luxurious, full-size, tiled indoor pool and spa area.
