Hotels Near Green Lane, Pennsylvania

Green Lane is a small community in southeastern Pennsylvania, located on the south edge of the Green Lane Reservoir. A few restaurants like Chiaro's Pizzeria and Becky's Place, along with churches, banks and other community services line Green Lane's Main Street. The Perkiomen Trail runs through the nearby Green Lane Park and provides jogging, running and other recreational opportunities. Green Lane itself is so small however, that visitors wishing to stay here must lodge in nearby towns like Quakertown, Harleysville and Kulpsville.

    • Green Lane is a small borough in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania just outside of Red Hill and about 40 miles northwest of Philadelphia. Valley Forge is the wider name given to the southeastern area of Pennsylvania. The Convention and Visitors Bureau recommends Valley Forge National Park, Bucks County Wine Trail, the Chester Springs Creamery at Milky Way Farm and the Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation as just a few of the unique tourist attractions in the area.

    Quakertown

    • Located about 14 miles northeast of Green Lane, Quakertown is a bigger city and is home to a number of chain hotels that visitors to the area may stay at. The Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Best Western and Hampton Inn are all located in Quakertown. In addition, a quaint, non-chain establishment called the Old Bethlehem Road Hotel is also situated in Quakertown and offers six guestrooms designed in the character of an 18th century colonial home. Built in 1749, the hotel sits on five acres of forested land and also serves dinner and drinks.

    Harleysville

    • Harleysville is another small, yet larger city near Green Lane which offers hotel options to visitors to the area. Homewood Suites by Hilton, Holiday Inn, Comfort Inn and Days Inn are chain hotels in Harleysville which is situated about 7 miles south of Green Lane. The Hotel Fiesole is a non-chain hotel located just outside Harleysville which combines an old colonial feel with modern amenities. Sixteen rooms await guests as well as a full service live entertainment lounge and nearby shopping district in Skippack Village.

    Kulpsville

    • Just a little further south of Harleysville, about 10 miles southeast of Green Lane, Kulpsville offers more hotel options and is near to one of the largest retail malls in America -- the King of Prussia Mall. With five levels and nearly 200 stores, people visit King of Prussia Mall from all over the upper east coast. The Inn at Towamencin is one large hotel located within minutes of the King of Prussia Mall in Kulpsville, Pennsylvania. It offers nearly 200 rooms as well as on-site amenities like a pool, gym and fitness center. A number of chain hotels are also located in Kulpsville near the mall.
