The Army and Navy Club is a nonprofit organization conveniently located in the heart of Washington, D.C. Its members consist of active and retired personnel from the four branches of the military. The club's building is located two blocks from DuPont Circle, which is known for its numerous quality restaurants. Guests at the Army and Navy Club receive a breakfast every day but Sunday. Brunch is served later in the morning on Sundays. Guests can also take advantage of the club's fine-dining restaurant, grill with lighter food, and cocktail lounge. The club also has a souvenir shop. It has 29 upscale rooms and suites that are individually furnished, as well as a fitness center. Some of the rooms overlook Farragut Square Park.
The Bolling Air Force Base Bolling Inn has affordable lodging. including 100 temporary units. Located in Washington, D.C., and along the Potomac River, the base is also within short drive of Maryland and Virginia. The main purpose of the inn is to provide lodging for members of the military who are moving from place to place because of permanent change of station (PCS) orders. The temporary units include full kitchens a dining area, one or two bedrooms, and a sleeper sofa. Pets are not allowed, although the front office will help guests find a nearby kennel. Guests can also take advantage of a rental car agency on the base.
Mologne House is located on the same property as the Walter Reed Medical Center. Both group and individual rates are available at an affordable price for members of the military. The house has 280 units that are classified as standard, superior and deluxe rooms, or studio and executive suites. Amenities include an on-site restaurant, a van that provides transportation for guests, meeting and banquet facilities, free parking and a high-tech security system. The Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., is the main housing facility of the Walter Reed Health Care System, which provides health care for more than 150,000 soldiers, family members, and retirees.
