Penzance, Cornwall is located in the far southwest corner of Britain.     • The Union Hotel in Penzance is located on downtown Penzance and dates back to the 1700s. The hotel has housed many famous guests including prime ministers, members of the royal family and artists including Charles Dickens. Most of the 28 bedrooms are en suite and many have views of the sea. The hotel offers guests a complimentary English breakfast in the Trafalgar dining room each morning. The hotel also offers a full fine-dining restaurant and two lounges. Guests of the Union Hotel are close to local attractions such as St. Micheal's Mount, the gardens of the Eden Project and Minack outdoor theater.

    The Pendennis Guesthouse

    • The Pendennis House is a 10-bedroom Victorian house built in 1860 and converted into a guest house in 1940. Eight of the 10 bedrooms have been converted to guest rooms, and seven of them are en suite. The hotel also offers a two-bedroom bungalow for rent that sleeps up to four people. Guests receive their choice of a full hot English breakfast, a vegetarian breakfast or a continental breakfast. While the Pendennis is located out of the center of Penzance, it is a three-minute walk to the seashore and within walking distance of town. The hotel is three miles from the popular tourist town of Mousehole and the coastal footpath that leads around the sea boundary or Cornwall's coast.

    The Abbey

    • The Abbey hotel was previously a private house that dates back to 1660. The Georgian Gothic building offers guests six en suite rooms, an apartment and a suite. The hotel sits on a high outcrop looking over Mount's Bay and the famous St. Michael's Mount. The Abbey offers guests the use of the drawing room, walled garden and courtyard. Breakfast and dinner are served in the dining room, which features original oak paneling and a roaring fireplace. Afternoon tea is served in the garden and guests are free to relax or play croquet there. The hotel is within walking distance of the beach and overlooking cliffs, art galleries and gardens.
