Raleigh, the capital of North Carolina, has a rich history, dating back to the late 18th century. Officially founded in 1792, the city has since grown into a giant metropolitan center, and the second-largest city in the state. Raleigh's numerous attractions, including museums, theaters, historic sites, three major malls and 150 major parks, attract more than 11 million visitors each year. And if you need a place to truly relax, after a day of exploring this giant city, Raleigh also features a number of hotels with Jacuzzi suites.

    • The Wingate Hotel in Raleigh sits sandwiched between the Capitol Area Historic District and new city center, providing access to historic monuments and modern attractions. As of October 2010, the Jacuzzi suites start at $150 per night.

    • Located in the heart of downtown Raleigh and across the street from the Raleigh Convention Center, the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel provides central access to all that the city center has to offer, including five parks, four universities and colleges, two town squares and two museums. This luxury hotel features an exclusive lounge, indoor pool with Jacuzzi, fitness center and 358 non-smoking guest rooms, in four basic layouts. The largest room designs -- the luxury suites -- measure a stunning 1,140 square feet, and feature their own private Jacuzzis, along with a handful of other luxury amenities. Guests must arrange the specific reservation and rate details for the suites through a special hotel liaison. However, the regular guestrooms run around $259 per night, as of the October 2010.

    Fairfield Inn & Suites Raleigh Crabtree Valley

    • Just steps from the Crabtree Valley Mall, the Fairfield Inn & Suites sits along the northern edge of Raleigh. A short drive from the hotel, visitors can also experience miles of trails and near-endless fishing opportunities within the 5,579-acre William B. Umstead State Park. The AAA 3-diamond-rated hotel features a fitness center, outdoor pool, Jacuzzi and 125 non-smoking guest rooms, including a handful of suites with private Jacuzzi tubs. Measuring 288 square feet, the Jacuzzi suites at the Fairfield are somewhat smaller than those at most other hotels, but starting at $119 per night, as of October 2010, they are also much less expensive.
