Blackwood is a community in Camden County in Southwestern New Jersey and in the greater-Philadelphia area. Blackwood is best known as the home of Camden County College and the Highland High School wrestling team, which for years was one of the best in the country. Blackwood does not have its own hotels, but many are available in nearby towns.

Hotel dining opportunities include room service as well as its on-site 9th Ave. Bar and Grill. For recreational pursuit, the hotel offers an outdoor swimming pool open during the warmer months and a fitness area with a volleyball court. The restaurant has a bar area and offers casual dining with American cuisine. Seniors over 62 receive discount rates. Four of its rooms are handicap accessible. The hotel doesn't allow pets.

Best Western Monroe Inn & Suites is 10 miles south of Blackwood in Williamstown. A big feature at the hotel is its five specials, which includes golf, romantic getaway, spa serenity, skydiving and wedding packages. All of the packages include a room or suite in the hotel. The Best Western is located off the Blackwood Pike, and 30 miles from the resorts and casinos in Atlantic City. A breakfast is on the house at a hotel with a heated indoor swimming pool, a fitness center and a business center. The hotel opened in 2005 and has a variety of suites to go along with its standard rooms. These include a family suite with a pull-out sofa, and suites with hot tubs and fireplaces. A water park is three miles from the hotel.
