The oldest resort in Coron, Kokosnuss Garden Resort can be found inland on the way into Coron proper. This traditional-style island resort features 24 individual bungalows constructed with local materials and nestled amid a large tropical garden. A on-site garden restaurant provides fresh seafood dishes daily. Most bungalows are primitive, but well-furnished and spacious. If you prefer, there are a limited number of bungalows with marble flooring, private bathrooms and air conditioning. As of 2010, a single primitive cottage room starts at $14 per night.
