Mammoth Cave National Park is located in south central Kentucky and has the world's longest known cave system. It's a part of the Green River Valley and has over 367 miles of explored caves. The park has several hotels close to it and other nearby attractions.
The Mammoth Cave Hotel offers several different room plans. There are 42 Heritage trails rooms that are open all year and offer a view of the National Park from their balconies. Room amenities include refrigerators and televisions. The 20 Sunset Terrace rooms are open all year long. They offer two double beds and air conditioning, and accommodate two to four people. The 10 Historic Hotel Cottages are open from mid-March through October, are fully furnished and accommodate one to two people.
