Hotels used to be simple places to lay your head for the night. Now resort hotels offer guests more fun than can sometimes be found at other attractions in the area. Some hotels even include waterparks on site. These fun-in-the-sun amenities include relaxing lazy rivers and towering water slides. Because of the warm year-round climate of Phoenix, many hotels offer aquatic parks.
In central Phoenix, the Arizona Grand Resort's Oasis Water Park sports not only three eight-story water slides but also a relaxing lazy river. It also includes Wild Cat Springs for younger children and a wave pool that's fun for all ages. The seven-acre park has been featured on the Travel Channel as one of America's top 10 waterparks.
