The indoor swimming pool at the Palmer House Resort Motel is described as a lap pool. The Italian-tile-surrounded amenity is heated and features large windows surrounding the perimeter of the pool that offer views of the green mountains of Vermont. There is also an outdoor swimming pool available at the resort. The facility is accompanied by a full health and fitness center, which features a spa, sauna, steam room, gym and massage treatments.

One of the main attractions of the town of Manchester is the access visitors are afforded to Mount Equinox. A number of activities related to the mountain and its foothills are available, including cycle tours, hiking and rock climbing.
