Laughlin, Nevada is located near the southern tip of the "Silver State," close to the Arizona border to the east and California to the west. Laughlin was named after entrepreneur Don Laughlin who opened the first gaming establishment there in 1966. Since then, the area has become a tourist destination that is convenient to California, Nevada and Arizona residents.
The Aquarius Casino Resort has over 1,300 video poker and slot machines and a wide variety of gaming tables. The hotel completed a $20 million room renovation in the summer of 2008.
