Motels in Eldora, Iowa

Eldora is a small town in the central portion of Iowa. Eldora is right next to the Iowa River and home to Pine Lake State Park for a day of boating, swimming and fishing. If you're not making camp for the night at Pine Lake, Eldora, the surrounding area offers a variety of motels and other lodging options.
  1. Eldora Motel and Village Motel

    • Eldora is home to two motels: the Eldora Motel and the Village Motel. Each offers rooms for $40 to $60 a night, as of January 2011. While neither motel offers any dining options, the Eldora Pizza and Steakhouse, Elacquea Broken Tea Room, Firehouse Saloon and Grill, and Weathered Wheel are all a quick drive away. While in Eldora, guests can visit the town's aquatic center complete with water slides, hydrotherapy pool and floating rafts. Other entertainment options include the historic Grand Theatre, offering movies for just $3 and the Rock-n-Row tubing, camping and music area.

    Super 8

    • The Super 8 in Iowa Falls is 20 miles northwest of Eldora and offers rooms for $62 to $72 a night, as of January 2011. The Super 8 includes a free breakfast and indoor pool for guests. Plenty of chain restaurants are within walking distance as well as local options including Las Flores Mexican, Camp David for steaks and barbecue, and Porter on Main for seafood. For a day out, guests can visit the historic Dow House or the Swinging Foot Bridge that connects Assembly Park to the downtown area.

    AmericInn

    • The AmericInn in Iowa Falls is located on the Iowa River. Rooms are available for $80 to $90 a night, as of January 2011, and include a free breakfast. The AmericInn is near Iowa Falls local restaurants like the Red Rooster Grill, Heavenly's A Creative Bakery and the Choung Garden. Motel guests can also take a ride on the Scenic Empress and enjoy the river from a double-decker boat. During the day, there are two, nine-hole golf courses that welcome visitors.

    River's Bend Bed and Breakfast

    • Visitors to Iowa Falls can also reserve a room at the River's Bend Bed and Breakfast for $79 to $129 a night, as of January 2011. The Victorian-style bed and breakfast includes a bedtime dessert and breakfast. Nearby attractions include the Caulkins Nature Center with walking trails, exhibits and natural history museum, and the Meyer Municipal Aquatic Center with two water slides, water basketball and a children's play area.
