The Hotel Congress provides a progressive atmosphere in an historic downtown setting. The hotel was built in 1919 and has retained its vintage style and old-fashioned ambiance (there are no TVs in the rooms), while still managing to appeal to the contemporary crowd. The hotel's club, Club Congress, which opened in 1985, is known as one of Tucson's best dance clubs. The Tap Room is located inside the club and has been in business since 1919. Hotel guests receive free or discounted admission to concerts and club events. Finally, the Cup Cafe serves up a variety of breakfast and dinner dishes, and also offers decadent desserts and coffee in what the hotel's website terms a "historic modern bistro" atmosphere.
Travelers will appreciate the Radisson Suites' proximity to the Tucson International Airport, as well as its many convenient accommodations, such as free hot breakfast in the morning, an on-site restaurant, large heated pool and whirlpool, and wireless Internet service. The hotel also provides a 24-hour free shuttle service to and from the Tucson International Airport. The hotel bar and grill, Finnegan's Lounge, provides lunch, dinner, appetizers and drinks with happy hour specials and televised sports events.
