Elk Springs Resort Cabins in Gatlinburg, Tennessee

Located on 68 wooded acres near the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee is Elk Springs Resort, a wooded getaway offering luxury cabin rentals among the pine and cedar trees. The resort is located about ten minutes from Gatlinburg and from Pigeon Forge. As of 2010, the resort is still under construction, with most of the existing cabins only a year or two old and future plans including the addition of a wedding chapel and plans to open an indoor pool in 2011.
  1. Types of Cabins

    • The resort offers 121 cabins ranging in size from one to five bedrooms which sleep from six to 15 people respectively. Each cabin is individually designed with its own name and layout, allowing you to reserve the specific cabin you want. Cabins are divided into categories based on number of bedrooms, but categories such as pet friendly cabins, home theater cabins and honeymoon cabins are also on offer, and each cabin is individually priced. Discounts are available for AAA, AARP, military and repeat visitors.

    Cabin Amenities

    • No matter which size of cabin you select, you will find a gas fireplace, pool table, gas grill, hot tub, a deck with rocking chairs, a TV in each bedroom, a fully-equipped kitchen and free wireless Internet. Some cabins are available with theatre rooms, featuring a large scree tv and seating in a movie theater-type setup, while other cabins come with features such as video game systems, rain showers, foosball tables, air hockey or wet bars.

    • Although the resort is secluded, its location between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge puts you just a short drive from a variety of attractions and activities. Two miles away, the Gatlinburg Community Center offers a heated indoor pool, eight lanes of bowling and a fitness center. Just a ten minute drive will put you at either Dollywood theme park or the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Outdoor enthusiasts will find three horseback riding stables within five miles of the resort, and whitewater rafting five miles away.
