Bellows Falls is a great ski base with eight major ski areas within 40 miles, including Killington, Stratton and Magic Mountain. A self-guided walking tour will get you around town to all the historic sites and the Claremont Opera House rounds out the cultural attractions.
Bellows Falls has the normal fast food chains such as McDonald's and Pizza Hut, but eateries such as the Tumble Car Diner and Sweet Fire Barbecue provide a taste of the local culture. The town also has several pizzerias, Chinese take out and family-run places like Sophie and Zekes or the Miss Bellow Falls Diner. The town restaurants are all along the main road, Rockingham Street.
