A newly built Majestic hotel in 2005, the Colonial Punta Cana is an all-inclusive resort located on the Playa Bavaro beach. This resort hotel features six restaurants, nine bars, an after-hours snack bar, a sports bar, a gambling casino, a fitness center, convention center, an outdoor swimming pool, a children's pool, wedding facilities including a gazebo and Catholic Church, an on-site theater for movies and other entertainment, and golf course steps away from the resort's main entrance. The Majestic Elegance Hotel in Punta Cana is also a newer Majestic resort hotel, built in 2008. It is located on Bavaro Beach, toward the eastern coast of the Dominican Republic. While the Elegance resort hotel does not have all the amenities of the Colonial, guests of either resort hotel are allowed to use the others facilities and entertainment venue's like the casino and theater. The Elegance resort hotel features about 600 rooms, in two different categories. There is the Majestic Elegance Club section of the hotel, which is for adults only, 18 and over, and then the all-age Majestic Elegance part of the hotel. The Elegance Club for adults is located in two private beachfront buildings, offering 127 adult-only rooms with ocean views. The all-ages portion of the resort hotel offers either a garden or pool view. All rooms at the Elegance hotel feature king- and queen-size beds, walk-in shower and jacuzzi, plasma TVs with satellite, high-speed Internet, air conditioning, telephone, DVD player and an outdoor terrace or balcony.

Each of the Majestic resort hotels in Punta Cana offer exemplary spa facilities for their guests. Called the Spa Resort Colonial and the Spa Resort Elegance, each spa facility is housed within their own hotel grounds and offers a variety of bath, body and health treatments. There are on-site cabins at each spa for massage treatments, and each has a view of the pool-side fountain and lavish tropical gardens. Couples also can partake in treatments together as there are VIP cabins specifically designed for couples only.
