Where is white sands national park located?

White Sands National Park is located in the Tularosa Basin of southern New Mexico, in the United States. It is situated around 16 miles (26 kilometers) northeast of the city of Alamogordo. The park encompasses a total area of approximately 146,000 acres (59,000 hectares).
