Can you carry a concealed hand gun in Shenandoah National Park?

Federal law allows people who can legally possess a firearm under federal law to carry concealed firearms in national parks. However, Shenandoah National Park requires individuals to have a valid concealed carry permit from their state of residence or a qualifying state. Open carry of firearms is not allowed in Shenandoah National Park.
