Mardi Gras Hotel Packages

Each year tourists flock to New Orleans to experience the cultural phenomenon known as Mardi Gras. According to Mardi Gras Digest, the start of Mardi Gras occurs on any Tuesday from Feb. 3 to March 9, with dates changing each year. To prepare for the large number of tourists to New Orleans during Mardi Gras season, a few hotels offer specific Mardi Gras packages for those staying overnight while one accommodates tourists hoping to witness the festivities up close.
  1. Mardi Gras World

    • If you are interested in Mardi Gras attractions, the Bourbon Orleans Hotel offers the Mardi Gras World package. Mardi Gras World is the site of many of the floats and props used in Mardi Gras. In fact, because the owners are a part of the Mardi Gras planning process each year, Mardi Gras World is a behind-the-scenes look at the season's experience. The Mardi Gras World Package includes: tickets to Mardi Gras World, a shuttle ride to the site and two free drinks at the hotel's lounge. Packages are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
