Are Kurdish and Arabic spoken in Turkey?

Kurdish is the most widely spoken minority language in Turkey, with an estimated 15-20 million speakers mainly concentrated in the southeastern region of the country, close to the borders with Syria, Iraq, Armenia, and Iran.

There are several dialects of Kurdish spoken in Turkey, including Kurmanji, Sorani, and Zaza-Gorani.

Arabic is spoken by a significantly smaller population in Turkey compared to Kurdish. Estimates suggest that there are around 1 million Arabic speakers in the country, mostly concentrated in the southern parts, near the border with Syria. The majority of Arabic speakers in Turkey belong to the Arab minority that has historically resided in the region, particularly in the cities of Antakya (ancient Antioch), Urfa (ancient Edessa), and Mardin.
