Wanderlust World Wanderlust World Restaurant Nicholas is located on Route 35 in the town of Red Bank. It is large and airy with seating for 95 customers. Nicholas serves a varied contemporary American menu with starters such as fluke tartare, seared scallops and Yukon potato gnocchi. Typical entrees include roasted venison, bacon-wrapped monkfish and butter poached lobster. The seasonal dessert menu has featured such dishes as peanut butter soufflé, lemon pudding cake and passion fruit custard. A separate tasting menu is available.
For meat lovers who have partners preferring seafood, or vice versa, Ichiban's Japanese Hibachi Steakhouse and Sushi may be the perfect solution. On Route 35 in the town of Ocean, Ichiban offers Asian-American fusion cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. Appetizers include soft shell crab tempura, barbecue squid and agedashi tofu, tofu fried and served with tempura sauce. Entrees include salmon teriyaki, pork katsu and Japanese-style surf and turf with filet mignon and shrimp. A full sushi bar is also available.
Found on Route 35 in South Amboy, Covello's offers a classic Italian-American menu with a concentration in seafood. Starters include shrimp cocktail, broccoli rabe and artichoke heart salad. Mains include scallops in a white wine sauce, chicken Florentine and the house special linguini Covello, served with green olives, ham, sausage and plum tomatoes. Covello's has a full wine list, which is served in carafes, as well as a selection of cocktails, aperitifs and digestives to top and tail your meal. Covello's is closed on Mondays. The restaurant takes bookings and also offers catering.

The restaurant is decorated in a Greek island style and provides a suitable atmosphere for casual romantic dining.
