How many wars have been fought in Afghanistan since Jesus was born?

Jesus Christ has been born about 2000 years ago. There have been dozens of wars fought in Afghanistan since then. The region which today constitutes modern Afghanistan has a history of invasion, conquest and military occupation stretching back thousands of years.
