Why is the tourist map of Missouri also called a geopolitical map?

Tourist and geopolitical maps are not the same thing. A tourist map shows where things are of interest to tourists, such as places to eat, sleep, shop, and visit. A geopolitical map shows locations of towns and cities, borders between places, and other political features.
