Going on a cruise does not necessarily mean warm temperatures. Be sure to pack a hat and gloves and at least one warm coat. Sweatshirts and sweaters should keep you comfortable on the warmer days. You'll need waterproof shoes for rainy weather.
Don't forget to pack important documents, like your airline tickets and cruise documentation. You should keep a driver's license or some other form of photo identification on you at all times in case of an emergency. You should ask about whether you'll need a passport or visa at any of the cruise's port destinations.
It's important to take anything you need in your day-to-day life, like prescription drugs and a small first aid kit. You might also want to pack ear plugs, lotion and hand sanitizer, and maybe even some bug spray for the mosquitoes and other insects you'll encounter onshore.
