The hotel includes a pool and allows pets.
Though not part of a hotel chain like Algona's other two places of lodging, the Burr Oak Motel offers an inexpensive alternative a short distance south of town on 120th Avenue. Though a single-story old-fashioned motel, the building is far enough from the road to allow a quiet night's sleep. Pets are allowed and free Internet is included. Prices range roughly $50 to $60 per night.
