On the island of la Giudecca, across from St. Mark's Square and directly on the water, Ostello Venezia is one of the only youth hostels in Venice. Its rates start under $25 a night for dorm style rooms, which includes breakfast, a locker and clean sheets. While it may be inexpensive, there is only minimal amenities and women and men are separated in different dorms, making it ideal for singles. Each of the 18 dorms has 15 beds, which means guests have no privacy and it is normally loud at all hours of the night.
