Golden Arches Hotel

• While Estella is a two-star hotel, Golden Arches is a three-star hotel and only slightly pricier. The hotel is four stories with 110 rooms, which include central heating and air-conditioning and satellite TV. The lobby restaurant has a breakfast buffet and serves dinner. Outside, the Golden Arches has a swimming pool with poolside service and a tennis court. Its website says double rooms start at 58 euros a night with single occupancies starting at 63 euros.

• The Navarria Hotel began operations in 1990 and was refurbished in 2004. It boasts 130 elegantly decorated rooms, all of which have a private balcony overlooking the Mediterranean Sea or mountains. The facilities include swimming pools, an illuminated tennis court, and a game room including billiards, snooker and video games, plus a health center with a sauna, steam bath and massage room.
