    • Haunted Heartland Tours operates unique bus tours through "haunted" locations in Ohio and West Virginia. Among these is the Waverly Hills Sanatorium, a tuberculosis hospital that closed in 1961 and is said to be haunted by the spirits of victims of this disease. Other destinations include the Mansfield reformatory, a Gothic-style abandoned prison in Mansfield, Ohio, where guests take part in an overnight ghost hunt with a historical guided tour. The company secures the entire building for each tour, and provides dinner or snacks and beverages, as well as guided ghost-hunting activities.
