Sandals Emerald Bay opened in 2010 and formerly was the Four Seasons Great Exuma. It has been completely redesigned and claims to be the world's first oceanfront resort with butler service. The facility, located in the Bahamas, is just a quick flight from South Florida. Guests are assigned a personal butler who has been trained according to standards of the Guild of Professional English Butlers. The butler will handle all sorts of requests, from delivering chilled champagne to serving private dinner to you on the beach. Upon arrival you're given your butler's telephone number and you're free to call him at anytime. The presence of the butler and luxurious accommodations gives the resort a five-star feel. It's an all-inclusive property, meaning your meals and drinks are included in the price. Other highlights include a Greg Norman-designed golf course, which is available for an additional charge, a spa, a deep water marina and five restaurants. The property is in a secluded area, and there isn't a lot of nightlife around the hotel. For some, that may add to the intimacy.

Hedonism II has been considered by some as a spring break spot for adults. The hotel encourages a fun atmosphere by inviting adults to "come get wicked for a week." The resort offers au naturel beach, pool and hot tub areas, but participation is optional. There are similar facilities at the resort for folks who prefer to keep their clothes on. The fun-loving atmosphere is apparently what keeps people coming back, and many of them are past the age of 50. The resort remains popular despite no-frills accommodations. The rooms aren't fancy at all, but all the fun is outside on the beach and around the pools and hot tubs.

The Red Mountain Spa & Resort tells guest they'll be "between a rock and a soft place" when they arrive. The resort is surrounded by gorgeous red mountains, but offers plenty of pampering with a world-class spa. There are only 82 rooms at the resort, which specializes in healthy living activities, along with lots of (healthy) fine dining, and spa and recreational services. The spa services include a full array of massage, body treatments, skin care and hair and nail care treatments. There are other activities as well, including hiking, biking, kayaking, and mountain biking. Golf tee times can be arranged at Ledges Golf Course.
