With a large Amish population, covered bridges and endless antique shopping opportunities, Lancaster County offers perfect romantic getaways for couples. The most popular antiquing areas are in the small towns of the county including Intercourse and Bird-in-Hand. Along Route 30, visitors will also find outlet malls with high end boutiques and shops. Among the Amish attractions are buggy rides, tours and the Amish Village in the small town of Ronks.

Covering four counties in northeastern Pennsylvania, the area features fine dining, outlet shops and the beaches of Lake Wallenpaupack as well as spas such as the Skyview Spa at Skytop Lodge and the Laurel Spa at Pocono Manor Resort
