    • Royal Caribbean offers a 7-night Alaska Southbound Cruise. Radiance of the Seas is the name of one of the ships that depart to the Seward, Alaska, port. Shore and land excursions are also available Excursions include Juneau Trolley and Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show.

      Day one of the cruise begins in Seward. The trip ends on day eight in Vancouver, British Columbia.     Norwegian Cruise Line

    • Norwegian Cruise Lines offer cruises to Alaskan destinations, such as Glacier Bay--studded with 16 glaciers--and Sawyer Glacier. On board the ship, 20 dining options are offered, including gourmet French and Japanese. While on your cruise, seniors may opt to take an excursion. Sights to see include Butchart Gardens in Victoria port, British Columbia via a floatplane and Craigdarroch Castle---a mansion built by the wealthiest man in British Columbia in the 19th century. A 7-day cruise aboard Norwegian Pearl from 2010 through 2011 runs $699 for an inside cabin, $779 for oceanview, $1389 for balcony and $1619 for a suite.

    Celebrity Cruises

    • Celebrity Cruises offers a Cruisetour of Alaska. A cruisetour combines the best of sailing on a ship and exploring the Alaskan landscape on foot and/or vehicle with a tour guide. The Celebrity Cruise ship Infinity sails to Alaska. Seniors with disabilities, including vision and hearing, may utilize the ship's special needs programs; plus, Celebrity ship activities and services are mostly wheelchair accessible. The 2010 pricing for 7 nights out of Seattle starts at $799 per person.
