Who is the leader of republic Congo?

The current leader of the Republic of Congo is President Denis Sassou Nguesso. He has been in power since 1997, when he was elected as president following a civil war. Sassou Nguesso previously held the presidency from 1979 to 1992. He is the leader of the Congolese Party of Labour (PCT).
