Lion is the odd one out.

Why

• Ghana (West Africa) has no wild lions. Historical range ended at Sahara/Sahel boundary. Last confirmed sightings: 1990s (possibly vagrants from Burkina Faso).
• Giraffe: Present in Mole National Park (northern savanna) — reintroduced/conserved.
• Elephant: Mole, Bui, Kakum, Ankasa — forest & savanna elephants.
• Hippopotamus: Volta River, Lake Volta, Bui, Black Volta — common.

Conservation Note

Ghana's protected areas (Mole, Kakum, Bui, Digya, Ankasa) focus on elephants, primates, forest biodiversity. Lion reintroduction is theoretically possible but not currently planned.

So: Giraffe, Elephant, Hippo = Ghana. Lion = Serengeti/Kruger/Gir.
