Why was the rwandan president killed?

Juvenal Habyarimana, the president of Rwanda, was killed after his plane was shot down on 6 April 1994. The assassination is widely considered to have been the trigger for the Rwandan Genocide, in which an estimated 800,000 Tutsi people were killed by Hutu militias and government forces over the course of approximately 100 days.

The Rwandan Genocide was one of the most horrific events of the 20th century. The killing was systematic and brutal, and it was carried out by ordinary people who had been turned against each other by extremist propaganda. The Rwandan Genocide is a reminder of the dangers of hate speech and incitement to violence, and it is a warning to all of us to be vigilant in our efforts to prevent such atrocities from ever happening again.
