Where is darfur located in Sudan?

Darfur is a region located in western Sudan. It consists of five states: North Darfur, South Darfur, East Darfur, Central Darfur, and West Darfur. The region has an area of approximately 490,000 square kilometers and is home to various ethnic groups, including the Fur, Zaghawa, and Masalit. Darfur borders Libya to the northwest, Chad to the west, the Central African Republic to the southwest, South Sudan to the southeast, and Kordofan to the east.
