Where do most people live in Malawi?

The majority of Malawi's population lives in rural areas, with approximately 84% of the population residing in rural communities as of 2021. While there has been some urbanization in recent years, the country remains predominantly rural. The largest cities in Malawi are Blantyre, Lilongwe (the capital city), and Mzuzu.
