When did Egyptians exist?

Ancient Egyptian civilization began around 3100 BC with the unification of Upper and Lower Egypt into a single kingdom. It lasted for over 3000 years and reached its peak during the New Kingdom period between 1550 and 1070 BC. The civilization declined in the later periods and was eventually conquered by the Romans in 30 BC.
