What was Khmer rouges plan for Cambodia?

The plan known as "Democratic Kampuchea's Grand Plan'' proposed the following objectives with specific measures for Cambodia:

• Establish a classless society and eliminate capitalism through land reform, collectivization of property and means of production and the transformation of Cambodia into a self-sufficient agrarian society.

• Eliminate social classes, such as intellectuals, landowners, and urban educated elites who were considered exploiters, thereby achieving social equality with strict ideological discipline.

• Strengthen national security and self-reliance by building local industry to produce domestic and military goods, ensuring internal political security and independence from foreign countries or influence while pursuing neutrality, non-alignment, self-reliance ("Selfie Kampuchea'') .
