Where is ambala located?

Ambala is a city and district headquarter of the Indian state of Haryana. Geographically, Ambala lies in the southeastern region of Haryana and forms a part of the National Capital Region (NCR). The city is situated on the Grand Trunk Road, which is a major highway connecting Delhi with Amritsar. Additionally, the Mumbai–Delhi railway line passes through the heart of Ambala Cantonment, which is adjacent to the civil town of Ambala. Ambala is famous for its numerous defense establishments, educational institutions, and industrial units, making it an important center for trade, commerce, and education in the state of Haryana.
