Where is ambala located?

Ambala is a city and district headquarter of the Indian state of Haryana. Geographically, Ambala lies in the southeastern region of Haryana and forms a part of the National Capital Region (NCR). The city is situated on the Grand Trunk Road, which is a major highway connecting Delhi with Amritsar. Additionally, the Mumbai–Delhi railway line passes through the heart of Ambala Cantonment, which is adjacent to the civil town of Ambala.
